This was well-made but gimmicky and can only be used for a short time of a amusement. Add more interactivity and this will become a fun gimmicky time-waster (not a bad thing at all).

I enjoyed the point of the flash but I dislike stick movies. The animation was fluid and the action looked good. However, the music was annoying and the movie didn't grasp and hold my attention. Next time try to add a story and better looking backgrounds and you will have a good flash. This is going to pass, but next time work a bit harder on it.

It's been a while since we had a Newgrounds All-Star fighting game (I think the last one was Portal-Fighter). This one blows that one out of the water. It really does seem like you put 2 years of effort into this with the graphics, sound, and gameplay.

I do have some minor issues with the game, though. Button-mashing is pulled off too easily and gets rid of some of the challenge. Other than that, this is a great game and one of the best on the site today.

"Great game, but some problems."

I really enjoyed how you incorporated SSB into a 2d flash game. The overall feel of it was perfect, and if I didnt know any better, I would have figured I was playing Super Smash Bros. Melee.

The combat was simplistic and worked with the 2d sprite graphics. I really enjoyed playing it, and it is surely one of the best-made game on newgrounds today.

But it has it share of problems in my opinion. The one thing that bothered me was the movement. All the characters moved like they were on ice without skates. Combine that with "The Race to the Finish" and you got a challenge, but not because of skill, but because of the physics. Another minor problem was the battle system in a whole.

Most of the time when I am around 80% damage I get hit, and a go flying like a pinball out of the screen. I see this as unfair, and it barely gives you a chance to even jump back onto the stage.

Thirdly, the animation with the moves looked nice, but there wasn't much variety between the characters.

But other than that, this is a great game and shows much promise. The game is so well done, that only a few problems get noticed.

I loved the announcer voice, it sounded just like the real thing. Another plus is the animation, which is by far the best thing I have seen today. Great Job! This makes me look foward to the movie, but is still great as a stand-alone flash.
